Taiga Ventures Conference/ Retreat/ Arts Centre, has created a unique opportunity to connect people and nature in a healthy, scent-free wilderness environment situated over 1,000 feet above Thunder Bay and commanding a spectacular vista of the Sleeping Giant and Nor'Wester mountains.
While hosting activities, we focus on living" GREEN" in your meetings, workshops, celebrations, weddings, retreats, Living Classroom and art and music events. We provide comfortable access to nature with hiking/skiing trails. (special guided night walks available).
To find your way to a pre-booked event at TAIGA VENTURES: Drive through Kakabeka Falls, over the bridge and turn left onto HWY 590. Our Fire # is 1180 and it is on the right hand side. Keep to the right and follow the signs to a parking lot. We are a short, beautiful walk away from there.
Our trails are now accessible. They are rough, 'unmanicured', animal trails that have been widened to better accommodate both humans and animals. The forest is alive with the smells and colours of new growth and the sounds of birds and animals. Because these trails are rough, be prepared for a slow, gentle walk with proper footwear. As with all wilderness trails, you must assume responsibility for your own safety. Please sign in at THE GROTTO before proceeding onto the trails.

We do not serve soft drinks or any other bottled or canned drinks at TAIGA VENTURES. PLEASE do not bring bottled water with you. Our water is superior to all bottled water and it is FREE.
